Seems to me that she’s in the wrong. I once worked for an agency who set me up on a job but it was extremely boring despite its excellent pay. I decided to take job interviews that conflicted with both the schedule and interests of that job. I tried to lie about them, saying I had a doctor’s appointment or the like, so I really shouldn’t have been surprised when my contract with the job was canceled (which basically fired me from the job and made it impossible for me to re-establish my rapport with my agency as a “trusted and dependable employee”). I did learn a valuable lesson from it all: If you prioritize other jobs or contracts (or even interviews) over the contract or job that you have, you HAVE TO expect this result.
First of all, Summit Entertainment didn’t fire Rachelle and hire Bryce. Erik Freig, the President of Worldwide Production and Acquisitions did. Insider says that Rachelle was fired because they wanted Bryce Dallas Howard more than anything. But in my opinion, her father, Ron Howard, paid Summit Entertainment a good amount of money to get this part. Honestly, it doesn’t make sense that they would want her, she’s not even that great of an actress. But of course when she wants something, daddy always gives it to her because shes a spoiled ungrateful person. By Erik Feig replacing Rachelle it shows that he is acting like an amateur. So if anyone thinks that replacing Rachelle was a big mistake, then blame Erik Feig.
