The Twilight sequel New Moon has been a smash hit and it’s been breaking records: it scored the third-biggest opening weekend of all time
The record is still held by the Batman sequel Dark Knight, but New Moon earned an estimated $140.7 million during its first three days of release across the United States and Canada. Not bad at all!
Second place goes to Spiderman 3 and Pirates of the Caribbean 3 got bumped to fourth place. Notice how they are all sequels?
